1st January 2014, when the whole world is high on celebration and sending New Year Wishes, we are making the day even more special for you and for us as well. Today, we introduce an e-magazine to charge up your lives with whole new Enthusiasm and Inspiration.
Bhai-sahab, Praji or Bhai-jaan !
They are the names of a common man in India. With various news channels and entertainment channels clamoring alike to declare “And the Indian of the Year 2013 award goes to …”, another eventful year has come to an end. However, it looks like all of them missed out on the most important person of the year.
ReadmeINDIA Launch with New Year Message – 2014
This is the person behind the success story of AAP — a party that entered the political arena like an underdog cricket team in the world cup that manages to win the finals, trumping over the reigning champion by 200 runs, hitting six sixes off the last over; taking advantages of the ‘No Balls’ the opponent delivered.
This is also the person behind the success of Mangalyaan (Mars-Craft), India’s Mars Orbiter Mission or MOM – touted by some to be better than even MAVEN, NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN launched 13 days prior to the former.
What this person can do when armed with the power of information, we are only beginning to imagine. One such person goes on to study in one of the premier institutes of the country, walking out of a premier job to join a cause and stand for what he believes in. Another such 76 year old man calls out and surprisingly receives a rousing response from the nation, the college-goers on scooty and bikes, the gang hanging out near the chai ki dukaan, aspiring journalists and resolute activists, with the social media fueling the new-born fire.
Jahan chah, wahan rah. Nobody has ever epitomised this statement more than this person. And this person is YOU. The Indian of the Year 2013 award belongs to the common man, to the Bhaisaab’s and the Sirji’s, to the Behenji’s and the Madamji’s.
To build a bridge and shorten the gap between knowledge and growth, ambitions and achievements, faith and success – This is our Aim
India now ranks at third position in the world in terms of number of internet users, poised to overtake United States holding second position (China being first), easily surpassing Japan in this race last year only (2013). With the technology empowering the country and internet reaching out to more than 200 million people, today we take up this challenge to bring useful information to the people who really need it. At the same time, we should be careful that the tool of information exchange can turn futile or even counter-productive if not used appropriately. To build a bridge and shorten the gap between knowledge and growth, ambitions and achievements, faith and success – This is our Aim.
Today, we present our readers ReadmeINDIA, an e–Magazine with a difference, not because it’s one of a kind but because we work for the common man. We are not here to focus on money, politics, cricket or bare beauties; rather, we undertake this project to cover and explore all aspects of life, society and culture. We write for what is relevant, providing a deeper insight and enhancing the power of information in the hands of common man. To our readers abroad, we promise you a peek into the pulse of the country, giving you a panoramic view through the window of our site.
Kyunki Ekta Mein Shakti Hai, we call upon our readers to join hands and bring about the change the society needs. What better way to start and mark this change than to make it New Year’s resolution! In our drive to touch the sky, let us not leave the small, the old or the less privileged behind. ReadmeINDIA is a common platform where you come to be part of this resolution, be it creating the difference or benefiting from the impact of this difference.
ReadmeINDIA wishes an immensely happy and prosperous new year to its readers. We hope you pursue new ways of living and acknowledgement as we usher in an another new year.
Welcome 2014. Welcome to ReadmeINDIA.
