Doabi: This dialect is also from the same region as above. It is widely used in Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Nawanshahr and Hoshiarpur.
Malwai: Malwai originates in malwa region. Most of the Punjabi folk songs are sung using malwai dialect, which makes it special in its own unique way.
Powadhi: It is a regular dialect widely spoken in eastern regions districts of Punjab.
Wajeerwadi: You will find many people speaking it in border areas. This dialect is common in Pakistan obtained Punjab.

History of Punjab language can be stretched as back as 2500 BC. It is an indo Aryan language. It is largely spoken and understood by Punjabi (by religion, not language) people all over India. Being an indo European family language, it is also considered to be influenced by Iranian languages.
